Stop by Space 55 during the First Friday Art Walk in downtown Phoenix to enjoy original works of art, live music and improv comedy. The festivities take place the first Friday evening of every month.

Every first Saturday, Space 55 is home to the No Festival Required (NFR, for short) independent film series. NFR curator Steve Weiss hand-picks thoughtful and provocative cinema from local, national and international filmmakers and video artists.

Love, lust and sex all grace the stage during Space 55’s tribute to Valentine’s Day. Anything goes for an eclectic lineup of performers – as long as it doesn’t take longer than 7 minutes.
7 Minutes in Heaven

Every Saturday night in June, Space 55’s stage in downtown Phoenix will be home to … well, it could be anything. Ten acts have 7 minutes each to do whatever it is they do — music, comedy, poetry, dance, magic, yodeling … you name it!
Writers’ Workshop
The third Sunday of every month @ 10 a.m. Only $5
Specifically for local playwrights, screenwriters, directors and actors, the Space 55 Writers’ Workshop is designed to support new and innovative theatre.
