7 Minutes in Heaven, Space 55 Theatre Ensemble’s no-holds-barred variety showcase, returns for its third annual month-long run this June. Every Saturday night in June, Space 55’s stage in downtown Phoenix will be home to…well, we have no idea. All we know is that the ten acts appearing each Saturday night will have 7 minutes to do whatever it is they do—music, comedy, poetry, dance, magic, yodeling, none of the above? Anything goes, as long as it doesn’t take longer than 7 minutes. Don’t like what you’re seeing? Wait 7 minutes and you’ll be seeing something else entirely.

Brandy Hotchner is a highly trained actor and director. She is the
daughter of two published playwrights and founders of "A Company of
Players", one of the first and most well respected theatre companies in
Denver. She received her BA in Directing at the University of Redlands and her
MFA in Acting from the Actor's Studio. Hotchner has trained in Grotowsky and with Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts on London. After many years of working in New York she has now relocated to the valley.

Space 55 is happy to announce it will be hosting every third Sunday of the month, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, a playwright's workshop. Space 55 is committed to produce as part of our season, original and relevant theater. In support of that ambition, we have created this unique opportunity for local and national playwrights to hear their work read by professional actors and receive constructive feedback from professionals in the theater industry.
